Aerotek is looking for an entry level position in laboratory services where work is closely supervised and done in accordance with well-defined standards and procedures of an uncomplicated nature. Responsibilities:Analyze or prepare organic samples in an efficient and organized manner, using approved methodologies*Prepare reagents*Keep log books up-to-date*Keep the laboratory clean and safe (knowledge of safety rules)*Dispose of samples*Waste handling duties to include: labeling containers, understanding storage time limits, proper satellite accumulation, ensure adequate space between waste containers, ensure all waste containers are closed and incompatible materials are stored separately, understand secondary containment and may include documenting weekly inspections*Assist other laboratory personnel with analysis, data check and approval and handle simple calculations*Attend and partake in company and divisional meetings*Provide maintenance of stock reagents and lab supplies*Work on special projects with supervision of chemist or manager*Promotes cooperation and teamwork among staff
*High School diploma or equivalent*Chemistry lab experience preferred*Any lab experience (sample prep, dispatching, courier, etc.) is preferred but not required*Candidates must be detail oriented
