Job Description

Position Overview:
The Sales & Marketing Operations Analyst plays a key role in assisting the VP of Sales & Marketing with all aspects of the company’s combined sales, marketing, and operations initiatives. This role will provide national support to ensure efficient & profitable execution on all projects and initiatives for a national distribution network of 70+ locations.  Strong communication, time management, project management, and reporting skills are required.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists with the preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Assists in the development MS Excel worksheets, MS Word documents, MS PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Create weekly pipeline, forecasting, and marketing reports for corporate and regional management; ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Maintain data integrity in ERP system by administering existing and developing new data hygiene processes.
  • Develop and administer communications around results / progress vs. goals and key initiatives to the sales organization and regional leadership.
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of CRM and Business Intelligence software solutions.
  • Must have good people management, organizational, and planning capabilities; be a competent initiator and administrator of policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors including all levels of the Executive Management Team.
  • Other responsibilities and special projects as required.
  • Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA a plus.
  • Prior data analysis experience in a sales or sales operations environment.
  • Understanding of sales pipeline and sales processes.
  • Experienced with ERP, CRM, and BI systems, JDE / Oracle a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing deliverables to meet business commitments.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude.
