This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity!Job purpose/objective:Maintains regular cooperation and compliance with all regulatory and membership-based organizations. Creates and carries out various credentialing processes in relation to drivers and others in safety sensitive positions by verifying licensing, training, and certifications of all drivers. The primary goal is to ensure that all established federal and state standards, to include DOT, FMCSA, DOE, FTA, are met.The responsibilities and duties of the HR & DOT Credentialing Specialist include, but not limited to:-Process applications and rehire paperwork-Conduct prescreening duties such as driver history, background checks, etc.-Tracks, reports, collects, and processes verification info and communicates to hiring managers.-Prepares records for auditingRequirements:-Advanced PC and organizational skills to include use MS Excel, Outlook & Word.-Articulate and clear instructional writer. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.-Exhibit personable, creative, focused, competent, flexible and principled attributes when working with colleagues in divisional offices, statewide; internal and external customers.-Bachelor's degree in management, human resources, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, or related area of study.-Minimum of 2 years relevant/transferable HR experience.If you possess the necessary skills and experience for the job, please apply today!!
