A specialty pharmacy in Tigard, OR is looking to hire multiple people who have great customer service experience!!

This could be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in healthcare or pharmacy!

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: They ask that employees are open to working 7am-7pm. You will be given an 8 hour shift. (7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, or 10am-7pm)

Job Description:

  • Provides new and existing patients with the best possible customer service in relation to their drug prescriptions, clinical services, billing inquiries, patient's suggestions and complaints.
  • Front-line of contact for patients requiring assistance, must have a positive, empathetic attitude and able to handle a volume of calls while maintaining customer service.
  • 50-100 calls per day, depending on the day of the week. Average call takes 6 minutes.
  • Records and processes orders and/or inquiries received by fax, mail, telephone.
  • Provides pricing, availability, and schedules information within established guidelines.
  • Coordinates patient care by scheduling orders, communicating information to the patient regarding shipments, assessing supply needs, verifying patient information, notifying the pharmacist of issues or changes in the patient's condition.
  • Contacts the pharmacists to alert them of any changes in patient's condition, compliance issues due to patient
  • Qualifications:

  • Need candidates with strong customer service, patience, and wanting a team focused work environment
  • HS Diploma
  • Needs to be able to type 45 WPM
  • Must be able to toggle between multiple screens while on the phone with patients
  • 1 year of call center or pharmacy experience preferred, but open to candidates with an externship or 6 months of experience in a call center.
