Princeton Health is currently searching for a Per Diem, Days / Evenings, Nutrition Worker for Princeton House Behavioral Health, Inpatient Unit, Nutrition Department.

Schedule:  The hours of this position are from 6:00am - 2:30pm and 10:30am- 7:00pm, Float Position, Variable Shifts, including alternative weekends.

Position Summary: Responsible for performing a variety of patient, cafeteria, catering and general cleaning duties that may include patient tray assembly, distribution & retrieval of meal carts, food prep, assembly, plating and serving, utility work such as pot sink and dish machine operations, cleaning & sanitation of the kitchen and equipment, garbage disposal and other duties as assigned. Responsible for maintaining food safety and sanitation per policies and regulatory standards. Responsible for providing an exceptional, caring, and compassionate experience for patients and their families, visitors and guests of the hospital. Responsible and accountable for achieving patient satisfaction scores according to established department goals.

- High School Diploma OR equivalent

- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-to-two-step instructions

- Ability to speak respectfully and professionally with good interpersonal skills for interaction with employees, patients and guests


- Prior food service experience

- Some food safety knowledge based on ServSafe(R) Standards desirable
