We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician candidate to support local business, home office clients and Fortune 1,000 locations in your home market. The job will require drives utilizing your own vehicle under our mileage reimbursement program.

There may be overtime opportunities and you will take place in an on-call rotation, for weekend support, once fully trained. This is a long-term contract opportunity that may have growth potential for direct conversion.

The ideal candidate will have the desire to work as a team player and show up to work every day to assist our customers with their IT needs. You will need to be able to self-manage a call and be self-motivated to gain additional certifications.

Position Summary:
  • Laptop / desktop break-fix technician, installs, migration, imaging
  • Printer break-fix technician, installs, networking
  • POS break-fix technician
  • Server support
  • Network Smart Hands

  • Overview:
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs

  • Requirements:
  • A + certification strongly preferred
  • 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Must  be very personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well with end users required
  • Knowledge of commonly-used Tech Support concepts, practices, and procedures
  • PC and MAC hardware and software troubleshooting experience
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours
  • Must have POS, printer and desktop support experience
  • Must have laptop, desktop and printer break-fix experience
  • Typically reports to a project leader or manager
  • May require an Associate's Degree or equivalent
