ultrasound equipment to produce images and physiologic date of internal organs
and tissues for use by physicians in the diagnosis of disease. Provides service to patients throughout the
life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Education: Must be enrolled in a
graduate approved program of Ultrasound/Sonography or equivalent.
Experience: Must be enrolled in an
approved program of Ultrasound/Sonography.
Certification/Licensure: Registry eligible or a new graduate. Must be ARDMS eligible and pass a test in at
least one area (i.e. Abdomen, OB/GYN) including physics within one year of employment. Must be CPR certified.
