Job Description

Position Purpose:

Provide customer service to assist future and/or in house guests with room reservations. Provide detailed information about the property, amenities, room features and room rates.

Position Responsibilities:


Describe and explain Maui region properties and unit configurations.


Book reservations accurately and efficiently utilizing telephone, internet, group booking fax, room lists and other forms of reporting.


Know, understand and utilize reservations systems of the property, CRO and virtual phone systems.


Become familiar with occupancy levels and rate availability for all properties for various time frames in order to assist with yielding, inventory management and strategy for unforseen circumstances.


Handle multiple tasks with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy while collecting accurate information.


Work with the Manager Area Reservations to meet conversion percentage goals, revenue achievement and reporting requirement.


Gather detailed caller information and create leads for follow up as part of an outbound calling program.


Input call disposition and comments for use in reports and daily monitoring.


Cross sell Maui properties and assist in relocation strategies during high demand periods.


Adhere to property and company policies and procedures.


Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:


High School diploma or equivalent additional experience.


Customer service skills. Communication skills in the English language (written and oral). High level of organization and attention to detail. Basic computer knowledge including spreadsheets, documents and software.
