Possible Temp to Perm This position has been newly created and will require candidates to be able to follow instructions as well as be able to adapt to changes that may occur during the integration of this new position. Support the BGE PeakRewards field teams, installing and servicing multiple utility devices (Air Conditioner DR switches and thermostats.) This candidate should have excellent customer service skills and be able to both work with field technicians as well as the external and internal customers. Specific information: ** Must have 2 – 4 years experience in a call center environment answering phones, taking care of customer inquiries quickly and efficiently and documentation **Processes and modify work orders within a Database environment **Take incoming calls from Field Technicians to help manage skipped appointments and rescheduling and daily routing **Accurately update utility customer data base. **Manage virtual warehouse and field technician inventory **Prepare reports related to field activity, and receive inquiry calls from utility customers. **Requires extensive skills working with computer data bases and data entry. ** Excel – must have at least basic experience (such as pivot tables/formulas) ** Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. **Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures such as utility Demand Response systems, basic HVAC knowledge. **Performs a variety of complicated tasks. **Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
