Assists with all payment posting functions associated with Central Billing Office. Reconciles monies received and posted. Goes above and beyond to be sure all accounts are worked and helps management with training and department process improvement. Handles special projects and serves as backup for the all other staff. Communicates with management about problem areas and offers potential solutions. Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of business office courses desirable.
Minimum Experience: Minimum one year experience in medical office or
clerical background. Demonstrated skills in working with computers and
Excel. Knowledge of posting payments and reading explanation of benefits.
