Job Description


Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Captiva Developer in San Diego, California (CA).Overview:The client is seeking a Senior Captiva Developer to join our Shared Development Services team. The individual will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing and implementing end to end solutions. The position will also work on multiple concurrent projects and be effective in communicating status and risk. The individual will work very closely with operations to ensure the efficiency, scalability, extensibility and performance for content management and publishing platforms running on Captiva as well as all the other platforms such as Documentum, Adobe AEM, and Generis CARA.
Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software design or application development
  • 5+ years of experience with Captiva Capture in a large-scale Enterprise setting
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with Captiva in both Windows and UNIX platforms as well as an in-depth knowledge of Databases, Network and infrastructure concepts
  • Upgrading the Captiva system from an older version to a newer version
  • Expert in .NET
  • Hands-on experience working with common server operating systems such as Unix/Linux, Windows, etc. as well as web servers including IIS, Apache, Tomcat
  • Expert in RDBMS concepts (SQL Server preferred), software design, data structures and modeling techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
