Business Unit - Water Transfer


Each Lead will report directly to his/her supervisor in regard to any matters related to daily business operations.  Each Lead employee will carry out the instructions and guidance of his/her supervisor in the event of the supervisor’s absence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Coordinates with supervisor for a comprehensive understanding of daily tasks and requirements.
  • Ensures the team follows workload prioritization as outlined by the supervisor in the event of his/her absence.
  • Facilitates the completion of tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Ensures onsite operations are in compliance with safety measures and any regulatory compliance.
  • Acts temporarily as the supervisor in the event of his/her absence.


    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • High School diploma/GED. College or technical school courses related to business preferred but not required.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select’s insurance guidelines.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to execute duties based off of instruction with little supervision or guidance.

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred.

  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.


    Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift in excess of 60lbs.
  • Ability to withstand exposure to extreme weather elements (hot/cold).
  • Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment.
  • Requires a high degree of concentration in a busy area.

    Work Environment

    The company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.

  • Willingness to work days or nights as operations dictate.
  • This position works primarily outdoors and exposed to weather elements.
