Job Description

Pennant Healthcare is looking for an experienced RN with MDS expertise for our Regional MDS Nurse opportunity supporting 8 facility teams in our Idaho (7) and Nevada (1) markets. The Regional MDS Nurse Resource's primary duties are to train, develop, and support MDS Coordinators at the facilities we serve.  Qualified candidates will have in-depth knowledge of and experience with MDS/RAI process. Job Description

Primary purpose of this position is to train and develop the MDS Nurses at each facility to ensure the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), that is, the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Care Are Assessments (CAAs) and Care Plan in accordance with State and Federal requirements.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Nevada
At least four years  of experience working in a long term care setting as an MDS Nurse- multi-facility experience a plus.
Experiencing with RAI process and MDS certification preferred.
Must be willing to travel to all 8 locations in the ID/NV market.
Professional, dedicated and knowledgeable with solid communication and teaching/training skills.
