Test and Evaluation Engineer

Key Role:

Serve as the Deputy Test and Evaluation (T&E) Integrated Product Team Lead to provide support for a NAVAIR client's Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS). Maintain responsibility for assisting with the management of both prime contractor and government Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities, including reporting of project or program status to senior management within the Program Office organization. Maintain responsibility for the evaluation of contractor Earned Value Management (EVM) data, Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) items, and risk items. Update the latest revision of the JPALS program Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP). Provide guidance and knowledge of NAVAIR test planning and coordinate multiple layers and levels of review or comment consolidation while being vigilant of the program schedule and providing an approved TEMP for the next major program milestone. Support the T&E IPT lead with management of internal team activities, action item responses, and outside stakeholders, including other program offices and operational test communities.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with test and evaluation
-7+ years of experience with project management
-Active Secret clearance
-BS degree in Engineering

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with NAVAIR test and evaluation
-Knowledge of aircraft or shipboard landing systems
-Knowledge of Global Positioning System (GPS) technology
-Knowledge of COMOPTEVFOR work and aircraft and ship-related developmental and operational testing
-DAWIA Program Management and Test and Evaluation Certification preferred

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
