Job Description Actively looking for a skilled accounts payable clerk to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.Responsibilities:•Review, sort, scan and route incoming invoices for appropriate approval. •Review and Match PO's and Invoices. •Code invoices to the appropriate GL account and Subsidiary. •Review and process all types of business expenses. •Respond to all vendor inquiries. •Reconcile vendor statements and research any discrepancies. •Complete bank and credit card reconciliations. Process Bank Deposits. •Process annual 1099s and 1096s. •Process and Print payments to Vendors. •Assist in month-end closing of A/P •Maintains reports, spreadsheets, and accounting files. •Perform other Accounting, Finance, Operational processing and administrative duties assigned. We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit. Job RequirementsRequirements:•Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk (or accounts receivable clerk)•Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting/payables principles•Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records•Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers•Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software•Proficiency in English and in MS Office (PIVOT Tables, V-Look-Ups, etc)•Customer service orientation and negotiation skills•High degree of accuracy and attention to detail•BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration a plus
