Job Description


Kforce is seeking Junior, Mid, and Senior Level Cyber Information Assurance Analysts for a Systems Integrator supporting various programs in multiple locations. The client is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado (CO).Summary:The selected candidates will assist the integrator's environments in their efforts to fully comply with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), particularly the provision 252.204-7012 -Safeguarding Covered Defense Information and Cyber Incident Reporting. This position will perform passive evaluation of environments, systems and networks and identify deviations from acceptable configurations.Additional roles and responsibilities include:
  • Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards to ensure compliance with the NIST 800-171 and DFARS 252.204-7012
  • Recommend program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems
  • Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections, and periodic audits
  • Assists in the implementation of the NIST 800-171
  • Make recommendations on process tailoring, participate in and document process activities
  • Documents the results of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities and technical or coordination activity and prepare the System Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M)
  • Periodically conducts a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed
  • Job Requirements


    • Education: BA/BS or greater
    • IAM Level-1 certification (CAP, GSLC, or Security + CE)
    • Working experience implementing and performing Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessments on classified systems/networks
    • Working experience maintaining systems audits and corrective actions (POA&Ms) and direct experience with system security plans and documentation
    • Experience with Certification and Accreditation process preferred
    • Active CISSP certification preferred
    • MCSE/RHSA and/or System Administration experience preferred
    • Experience with security hardening, assessment, and reporting tools (SCAP, ACAS, HBSS, Nessus, and XACTA) preferred
