Job Description Summary: Prepare, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and document training activities in the company. Identify training needs through various methods, develop training materials, such as audio presentations, hard copy manuals, PowerPoint presentations, training guides, exercises, quizzes, etc. Administer, organize, and develop training sessions based on the needs of the company. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with Team Members at all levels inthe organization. Responsibilities: Supervise orientation and floor trainers; administer all training activities and efforts at the facility level (Orientation, On the job training, onboarding programs, etc); assess training needs for newand existing employees; identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps; organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs; develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks; informemployees about training options; map out training plans for individual employees; present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools; facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, computer based training, on-the-job coaching; design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness; track and report on training outcomes; provide feedback to program participants and management; evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology; maintain employee training records; handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment; establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers; coordinate on/off-site training activities for employees; keep current on training design and methodology; as well as performing other responsibilities as needed. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or at minimum 1 year oftraining/supervisor background. Certification in a national accredited facilitator program preferred such as ASTD (American Society for Training and Development\\ 7 Habits Certification) recommended. Experience: Experience with instruction or training, knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles, training methodologies, learning management systems, and competency assessment. Special Skills: Self-motivator, Tyson first mentality, planning and organizing,data gathering and analysis, problem analysis and problem solving, presentation skills, facilitation skills, coaching skills, adaptable, team player. Communication Skills: Presentation, facilitation and coaching skills with all levels of management and hourly. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office to include: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Supervisory: Develop and lead a Team of training personnel. Travel: 1 to 5 domestic trips per year
