Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Curam Business / Systems Analyst in San Diego, California (CA).Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides industry specific business process and function specific business process knowledge
  • Provides business solution, process, strategy, business case and change consulting to client
  • Through self-directed activities act as a liaison between client and technical groups, using superior communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate requirements
  • Applies industry-specific expertise to recommend and coordinate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a client's business systems, processes, and products using high-maturity methods, processes and tools
  • Help the client innovate and formulate business solutions and -technology enabled- business models and new ways of doing business to create breakthrough positions in the marketplace
  • Gets involved in the strategy and business issues identification and resolution; provides input to company account plan to develop and manage the strategic relationship with the client's Senior Management, and act as a trusted Advisor in transforming the client's business
  • Lead requirements Management and Change Management processes
  • Direct development of visualization, and user experience elements of solution design
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to manage scope, schedule, budgets and expectations
  • Lead business studies and present study results to the company and Client Senior Management
  • Coordinate and participate in proposals, feasibility studies, and new business development activities
  • Leverage industry knowledge and client relationships to assess the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment and to identify new business opportunities
  • Job Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Typically, a Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience
    • Experience as a liaison between client and technical groups, using superior communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate requirements
    • Experience with analyzing new business requirements and enhancements against existing application functionality
    • Experience with document management and obtaining client approval of deliverables
    • Experience applying industry-specific expertise to recommend and coordinate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a client's business systems, processes, and application using high-maturity methods, processes and tools
    • Experience working with developers, project managers and other team members to support Release Management
    • Ability to provide industry specific business process and function specific business process knowledge
    • Ability to provide business solution, process, strategy, business case and change consulting to client
    • Strong writing skills; ability to capture specific functional and technical requirements from client and other team members
    Optional Skills:
    • Recent experience with COTS applications and deployments
    • Curam - functional knowledge and experience with its application
    • Experience in Health care industry
