Job Description

Position Description:

Responsible for ensuring the control, integrity, and accessibility of the Internet/Intranet for the enterprise. Responsible for change management procedures regarding the installation and testing of all upgrades and enhancements for the Internet/Intranet infrastructure. Responsible for proper initial installation as well as subsequent installations of updates/patches; preparation of system documentation; proactive, regular checks of system components for errors and application of necessary corrective action; set-up and maintenance of Web servers. Knowledgeable in all levels of Internet/Web security and the associated requirements for their application. Designs, develops and administers firewalls as a means of preventing unauthorized access to enterprise networks. Provides technical support to internal users and external customers; troubleshoots problems and takes corrective action on a timely, effective basis. Administers all on-premise physical and virtual servers and cloud hosted virtual servers. Duties may include setting up hardware, installing and configuring software, and maintaining security on domain controllers, domain name servers, file servers, web etc. Troubleshoot hardware and application problems as they occur within the physical and virtual server on-premise and cloud hosted infrastructures and provide administrative support and troubleshoot issues relating to Office 365 and Azure. Technical Environment: VMware, Windows servers, Office 365, Azure

Office 365 administration Windows Enterprise Forest Management (DNS, AD, Group Policy, ADFS, etc.) Application Management Experience Office 365 administration, Windows Enterprise Forest Management (DNS, AD, Group Policy, ADFS, etc.), Application Management Experience. Ability to work closely with other team members to perform administrative functions but also possess the ability to work independently when needed. Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience Preferred: 5+ years of enterprise software and hardware support and troubleshooting

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or extensive work experience.
