Job Description Residential Sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility is to present a 90 minute educational session to leads identified by the company and to assist customers in selecting the best spa/hot tub and aftermarket products to enhance their spa experience. This is a 100% commission based sales position. W2 role with Cigna (3 plans) medical, Delta Dental (2 plans), Anthem Vision, life insurance suite of products and a 401(k) w 6% employer match,Paid Training.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Present a 90 minute educational session to leads provided by the company
  • Be well versed in all aspects of the products in comparison to competitors and to variations offered by the company
  • Travel up to 150 miles from home to make sales presentations
  • Communicate in a friendly, helpful manner, answering questions and advising potential customers on options and set-up that will best meet their needs
  • Resolve any concerns a potential customer may have in making a purchase at the appointment
  • Take appointments as assigned, typically nights and Saturdays
  • Provide information through manuals, sample books and tablet computers to customers in a professional manner.
  • Ensure customers are excited about their purchase while driving highest profitability for the company.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early evenings and Saturdays
  • Excellent verbal communications skills including active listening and the ability to clarify, persuade, and encourage
  • Excellent sales ability including active listening, ability to educate and negotiate, without pressuring customers. Ability to demonstrate the value of add-ons and upgrades.
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Math skills
  • Ability to work with a tablet computer, including taking photos, completing paperwork, finding information to share with customers.
  • Customer centric approach to the business.
  • Ability to work well with others within the company, including call center employees, and service technicians.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 12 months experience with progressive sales growth in selling high ticket home improvement consumer products direct to the consumer
  • Ability to life and carry a 50 pound sample case
  • Ability to work with strangers in their homes, use a tablet computer, sit for 90 minutes and while driving.
  • High school diploma or GED
