Job Description Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Professional to support development efforts here in our Hudson, NH facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting engineering by procuring custom as well as commercial off the shelf (COTS) products in a dynamic, quick turn environment. Direct experience with electronic components as well as Electronics Distribution is a must. This position requires a high level of interaction with Engineering and Operations and requires the Procurement Professional to close the gap between the needs of the business and the capability of the supplier. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings is a must as this position bridges Engineering with the supplier and is integral in relaying requirements and resolving issues. Candidates must be customer service oriented, have strong communication and organizational skills and be able to manage multiple priorities concurrently. Typical responsibilities for this role include:
  • Supplier selection support
  • Solicitation of bids
  • Bid analysis
  • Formulation of procurement recommendations
