Batcher (Berwick, ME):  We are seeking a safety minded, self-motivated individual to operate a concrete batch plant at our Redimix facility, as well as promote the company safety culture - enforcing safety and environmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures at the plant while ensuring compliance is maintained.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following; manage inventory control and plant efficiencies including monitor computerized batch control equipment, perform gradations and moistures on sand and stone material and maintain records accordingly.  Classification:  Year round hourly position.

Requirements:                                                                                                                                                      

  • Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment at all times.
  • Perform housekeeping, environmental and quality control duties at facility and perform weekly safety huddles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi task and make good decisions.
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Complete inspections and preventative maintenance of plant equipment (oil, greasing, etc.)
