Summary of This Role

As a Technical UI Analyst …

You are responsible for the end-to-end user experience from a variety of perspectives including the design and usability of internal/external interfaces and the quality of the solution being produced by the team.   A deep understanding of web and mobile systems, data structures and code and the ability to use these in your analysis is a key to success as a tech UI analyst.   Coding isn’t a requirement, but you’ll need to easily transition between a Chrome developer tools, Unix terminal, SQL editor and team collaboration tools.  It’s a very rapid environment that requires the ability to openly communicate in a small team, write clearly and with structure, and move quickly from one context to another.   Some things you’ll do regularly include:

  • Help create meaningful and innovative mobile, web and IoT products, help research and design User Experience flows
  • Create technical and business specs that are clear and easy for internal/external customers to read
  • Prepare and execute cross device, cross browser tests – and help us automate them
  • Leverage technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Unix, SQL and others to access all levels of a solution
  • Perform ADA testing
  • Work with developers hand-in-hand, every day – and speak their language
  • Lead design sessions and plan sprints, groom the backlog and keep yourself and the team moving forward
  • Move fast, break things, and determine how to fix them

  • You are knowledgeable of UI design systems such as responsive grids, web design, android and iOS cross-platform and native design
  • You have pixel-perfect attention to details who believes every pixel has a purpose and a place

  • You are passionate about creating awesome, consumer-oriented experiences
  • You care deeply about usability
  • You have cross-platform design/testing experiences (Web, android, iOS, emails)
  • You are knowledgeable on ADA standards and web accessibility evaluation tools
  • For this role, you’ll bring the following qualifications ….
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology or business information systems or related field.
  • Minimum three years as a UI developer, UX designer, web business analyst or other delivery role
  • Able to elaborate on design directives from the design team to deliver pixel-perfect products
  • High level understanding of development languages, mobile, web, react, CSS/HTML
  • Experience with usability & ADA testing methodologies and processes
  • Experience breaking down requirements, recommending solutions and organizing yourself and the team to deliver it
  • Fluent communication - both speaking and writing – and in a variety of styles including legal, business requirements and marketing

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field; or equivalent training or experience in lieu of degree
  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp
  • Professional experience working with end-users to meet business needs

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp
  • Experience with API's and/or mobile applications a plus
