Job Description Grade:

POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide customers with assistance and excellent guest service while maintaining a consistent image and a comfortable retail shopping environment in accord with Beau Rivage standards. May be assigned to any additional Fashion store at any time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:

  • Greet all customers cheerfully, ring sales on the register, and give correct change and sales receipt, and bag merchandise.
  • Answer phones, promptly and courteously, within two rings and take accurate messages when necessary.
  • Maintain floor standards, customer service standards, and utilizes selling skills.
  • Fold, hang, and maintain stock on/in racks, shelves, glass cases and armoires.
  • Assist in preparing for a physical inventory, including performing inventory.
  • Perform shift housekeeping duties to include shelves, fixtures and glass areas.
  • Cash out registers (includes counting cash, checks, charges, comps and completing settlement cards and envelope). 
  • Maintains stock room.
  • Works in any retail outlet based on business and or staffing needs.
  • PCI complaint.
  • Communicates merchandise/customer issues to management.
  • Maintains productivity goals.
  • Adheres to Beau Rivage and Corporate Retail Policies and Procedures.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High school diploma or equivalent and one year retail experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • PHYSICAL DEMAND:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, kneeling, walking, reaching, twisting, grasping, lifting, listening, using computer, telephone, and speaking.
  • Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and writing, typing on computer keyboard.
  • Frequently carrying, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs.


  • WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Work performed indoors, in climate controlled environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employee may be exposed to odor and secondhand smoke. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.



    WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:

    Regular scheduled hours. Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours.
