Job Description

  • Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales performance on a regular basis across a variety of products, price points, customers, and areas of the CSMB footprint
  • Model and propose pricing changes based on current performance keeping in mind the revenue and unit forecast targets
  • Stay in sync with the Marketing team on current initiatives in market that could impact sales performance
  • Field ad-hoc requests from the Marketing and Operations teams focused mainly on the pricing of certain new and existing products, speeds, and competitive profiles in market
  • Assist in monthly operational performance meetings discussing the actual vs target results of each President’s area in CSMB
  • Aid in the creation and refinement of the SMB pricing strategy across all products in the ILEC footprint
  • Proactively seek opportunities to further enhance our pricing strategies by researching/analyzing data to enable management to make smart, informed go-to-market decisions
  • Track the impacts of various pricing and sales initiative communicating their impact on our markets to the CSMB management team

  • Job Requirements

    Ideal Background:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Econ
    • 3-5 years of experience in related field
    • Must be proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and experience in Hyperion Essbase, SQL Server, and Tableau is desirable.
    • The successful candidate will be inquisitive, take initiative, and work to gain a solid understanding of the overall strategy of our business unit, continually seeking out ways to improve its results
    • Position requires strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. 
    • Solid organization and problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workflow 
    • Commitments to excellence and high standards
    • Previous experience in financial modeling and comparative analysis
