Job Description

Apex Systems has an opportunity for a Help Desk Support professional who will be fielding calls to provide basic troubleshooting to customers. This position is for someone with excellent customer service skills. The opening is for a 6-month extendable contract, for the top payroll company in Roseland, NJ.    

We are looking for someone that has a good balance of mid-level technical skills mixed with customer service. We are look for candidates that can not only answer the clients question but provide them guidance on how to navigate our system and provide suggestion on best practices for their company.

Responsibilities of Help Desk:

Complete Description: Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

Requirements of Help Desk:

  • Need to be able to navigate computers and know how to deal with basic issues that might arise if their modem turns off, it freezes, etc. (they use windows) but don’t need to be in IT, more common sense with computers 
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Need to have phone experience/etiquette 
  • Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, etc. 
  • **There will be a 2- week training period!
