Water Transfer field technician will be laying down pipe and monitoring water pumping equipment in the oil and gas field fields of the Bakken. Determines equipment and best method to rig up according to the package selected by the customerWith the assistance of other Operators and Helper unloads and assembles the equipment to be used, sets up the service unit and initiates the rig up.Rig up up/down transfer pipeEnsure drains and air reliefs are installed in proper placesOperate transfer pumpsMonitor water levels in frac tanksOperate discharge manifoldsSafely handle hoses of various sizes (3", 4", 6", & 8")Operate filtration unitsMechanical Repairs on equipment. Perform mechanical hookups with pumps and valves and general labor duties at well sites.Tend to pumps, compressors, and generators to provide power for tools, machinery, and equipment, or to heat and move materials.Responsible for the clean up of the temporary piping.
