Kforce has a client seeking a Dynamics 365 Solutions Lead in San Diego, California (CA).Summary:As a Dynamics 365 (D365) Solution Lead, this individual will be working for our client which serves as the IT Outsourcing Contractor for a local municipality. The Solution Lead will work with our customer's client and its end-user community to identify areas of opportunity for utilizing D365 (both on-premises and cloud) to replace legacy applications as well as serve as a solution for new applications. The Solution Lead will assist in projects with demos, requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, training, UAT support, data migration, reporting, and issue resolution.Job Duties:
  • Responsible for evaluating existing legacy applications for the client, and recognizing applications that are appropriate for D365
  • Solution lead responsible for the successful execution of all D365 activities and implementations for the client
  • This includes leading the delivery effort with both internal team members and external vendors.
  • Participate in the implementation of D365 applications for the client; Implementation activities include: requirements gathering and documentation, solution design, system configuration, entity creation, form creation, sitemap customization, business rules / workflow creation, report creation, data migration, end user training, user acceptance testing, and go-live support
  • Assist as the lead for demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, technical evaluations, and qualification of new sales opportunities
  • Assists in conducting business requirements analysis and documentation for system enhancements or replacement unrelated to D365 applications; Occasionally, there is the need to work with other technologies to meet the client's needs
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of business needs, along with an in-depth understanding of D365 product features and functionality
  • Job Requirements


    • Minimum Education: Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience implementing D365 applications
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
    • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
    • SharePoint knowledge is a plus
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
    • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving expertise
    • Detail oriented and committed to high quality standards
    • Ability to explain technical details to non-technical staff; This includes translating technical requirements into business language and business requirements
    • Ability to work on multiple projects, solve problems, deliver on commitments, and work with multidisciplinary teams
