The AD, Access Analytics role supports multiple therapeutic areas & payor focused teams with subject matter expertise in Managed Markets. The role has primary responsibility for all aspects of payer related primary MR (including data collection) and secondary research. Responsible for the development of timely and actionable insights including effective integration, consolidation (reports from multiple PM analytics sources) and communication of MRCI analyses to BIPI Management The role requires using sophisticated analytics for projects which include payer access and  pull through analysis,

Responsibilities include conducting and interpretation of advance analytics to support decision on payor strategies and effectiveness, support brand planning/field force evolution activities and serve as inputs to the pull-through process. The role will also be involved in the day-day activities related to payer/formulary maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities\:

  • Conduct advanced analytics to payor and brand teams in support of pull through planning and optimization along with help in identification of key opportunities and evolution of contracting model.

  • Responsible for all payor related primary and secondary market research. Design, execute and interpret market research studies and employ a wide variety of secondary sources

  • Key contributor in the maintenance of formulary and plan hierarchy information on a monthly basis.

  • Responsible for executing departmental procedures and collaborating within the organization to ensure the payor strategy is aligned with the brand strategy and market changes.

  • Liaison between Payor, Managed markets and Brand teams in the development of payor tactics and strategies

  • Establish work habits to support the therapeutic business function's evolving process and execution needs.

  • Requirements\:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of analytic experience with relevant data sources and analytical/MR methodologies or a Master's degree from an accredited institution and five (5) years of experience with relevant data sources and MR/analytical methodologies.

  • Proficiency in the development, documentation and communication of payor related MR plans.

  • Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques involving managed markets data related to formularies and plans.

  • Experience in creating master datasets which multiple sources including contracting claims, IMS plantrak, formularies to name a few.

  • Proficiency in understanding managed markets data, contracting strategy and implementing pull though strategy.

  • Experience in coordinating insights from disparate functions and sources, e.g., marketing research, claims, etc., into a comprehensive and insightful analysis and/or recommendation.

  • Proficiency in SAS and other data extraction and analytical tools such as SQL, etc.

  • Experience with Excel and Power Point.

  • Strong interpersonal abilities, can manage multiple projects at the same time.
