    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for identifying and analyzing customer quality and technical requirements and supporting the development, implementation and improvement of quality assurance systems and activities to ensure these meet customer requirements. Partnering with Customer Service, Program Management, Design Engineering, and Value Stream Support Teams to ensure timely and accurate flow down of customer requirements and effective integration into documentation and processes.

    Other specific skills required: 

  • Experience with Customer contract review 
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings/specifications
  • Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma (or equivalent) required. Associates degree or higher a plus.
  • 2-3 years’ Quality experience in a manufacturing environment with an ERP System
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Web-based applications and tools required
  • Defense Industry or Oil and Gas industry experience a plus
  • Six Sigma certification a plus
  • Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Physical Demands:

  • Light physical effort equal to occasional movement of product or documentation
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, or walk throughout the facility
  • Work Environment:

  • This position requires periods of working behind a desk, performing tasks on computer
  • Significant periods of standing or walking throughout the facility to interface with other employees
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes – required areas
  • Additional protection may be required while performing inspection near machines
  • This employee is required to perform other administrative duties as requested, directed or assigned.
