Job Summary:

The HR Partner leads Human Resources strategy to support internal client groups by providing professional guidance, process, policy, and analysis of business situations.  The HR Partner will  be a value added leader to the business by providing feedback and direction in developing our desired culture, executing our people initiatives, providing great internal client support, driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The HR Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role responsible for planning and executing of HR initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear leadership by understanding Netsmart business goals and strategy, translate HR initiatives and tools, and build a high-performing organization
  • Build and maintain trust with leaders across the organization through understanding, analyzing and anticipating outcomes of actions, effective communication and sound HR guidance 
  • Drive the people processes (performance, development, and career) to ensure that performance and capabilities meet current and future standards
  • Design and apply change management and organizational development strategies to support change initiatives
  • Coach managers on associate engagement strategies and people problem-solving.
  • Facilitate the continuing evolution of corporate culture through design and support of associate engagement and brand strategies 
  • Understands clients perspectives, monitors the effect of business decisions on associates and advises senior management on addressing concerns
  • Effectively applies performance management tools and routines to create a high-performance culture
  • Ensure leadership and coaching culture is cascaded through the organization
  • Understands, communicates, and applies objective and fair reward strategy
  • Applies associate relations and employment practices in order to create a positive, ethical, effective work environment 
  • Leverage a matrix environment and ensure that HR services are deployed as appropriate to internal client needs, identifies new opportunities where HR can add value, makes best use of the whole HR function
  • Support line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy
  • Maintains leading-edge knowledge and benchmarking of HR industry, practice, ad compliance issues to improve the HR policies and initiatives and enhance overall business performance
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a learning mindset when addressing complex business and people situations; drive the communication and sharing of learning across functions to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan as well as participating in functional and matrix initiatives
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, HR management, or similar 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR role(s)
  • Minimum 2 years in an HR strategic partnership role
  • Demonstrated project management skills to include research, analysis, planning, communication, and execution
  • Ability to develop clear, actionable steps from overall strategy
  • Demonstrated success as a team player, leading and participating in successful teams and projects
  • Strong client service orientation
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) resulting in the ability to engage, inspire, and influence people 
  • General understanding of HR compliance related to FLSA, EEO, AAP, Wage and Hour, and demonstrated experience researching and continuous learning on compliance matters
