Job Description This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


The maintenance generalist position has responsibilities to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electromechanical equipment in a food processing environment. This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters, such as basic electrical, electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication and manufacturing processes. The position will perform troubleshooting and repair, and provide technical support for all phases of the operation. The position involves standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, reaching and must be able to climb up down stairs and ladders. Must be willing to lift push pull up to 75 lbs. Applicant must be able to communicate with coworkers, operations personnel and management staff in resolving equipment issues. The applicant must be able to understand technical and training manuals.


One year of industrial maintenance experience or related certification in industrial maintenance setting. You must be willing to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
