Job Description

A mid-sized and quickly growing manufacturer of instrumentation for the scientific and chemistry sector is currently seeking a Direct Hire Manufacturing / Production Manager to join their team! This position is open due to steady growth and the shifting of responsibilities for their current Manufacturing & Production Manager.

    Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required, Engineering Discipline Preferred
  • 5+ Years of Prior Production Management Experience
  • Planning Experience in a Lean Manufacturing Environment
  • Hands-On Experience with Quality Metrics and Tools
  • Job Description:

    Main responsibilities include:

  • Oversee production: Guide their dedicated manufacturing team to provide on-time, consistent quality products to the customers worldwide.
  • Execute linear shipping principles.
  • Ensure Quality Metrics are tracked and maintain ISO protocols
  • Shepherd new products into production: They are continually engineering new solutions and advances in their technology to keep their product line current.
  • Coordinate service: They conduct repairs and provide day-to-day service support for their global customer base.
  • Supervise cross-training and hiring: They develop their people and assure that all critical roles are filled.

  • Typical Hours: 8am-5pm, but flexible
