Novitex Enterprise Solutions is looking to fill a Document Indexing Clerk position in Stamford, CT.  The schedule will be Monday - Friday, first shift. The starting pay for this position will be around $13.50 per hour and will vary based on experience. Candidates who successfully complete their first 90 days of employment will also be given an additional $1.00 increase to their hourly rate.

    With a strong attention to detail, this role will facilitate a variety of mailroom tasks to ensure high levels of customer service in a fast paced environment.

    A Print and Copy Clerk’s daily tasks will involve:

  • Perform any and all duties as assigned by management to include; assisting in scan center, prep, scan and audit documents.
  • Work with confidental documents, including running motor vehicle registrations per the client requests mailing out certified policies and letters, run reports, email and work in client databases.
  • Communicate to clients via email and phone calls, Maintain highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude at all times. 
  • Know, understand and adhere to business procedure guidelines at all times.  Take direction from site manager as required.  Participate in cross training of responsibilities as appropriate; especially creating motor carrier certificates of insurance.. 
  • Maintain all logs and reporting documentation as required.  Understand and adhere to all safety procedures. 
  • Ability to work overtime if needed. 
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and written, with clients and company personnel. 
  • Effectively work individually or in a team environment. 
  • Demonstrate competency in performing multiple functional tasks.

  • Experience with various hardware platforms including PC’s, servers, scanners, printers, and MFD’s.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • 1 year of related experience.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and quality conscious.
  • Lift up to 55 pounds with or without accommodations.
  • Availability to work additional hours.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have 1 year driving experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with law firms or legal process, particularly production and trial preparation.
  • Knowledge of reprographics, imaging services and workflow processes.
