The Visiting Scientist I position contributes to development, execution and control of a scientific research study; coordinate the conduct of experimental tests and procedures with GMAO reanalyses data products aimed at the applied use of the data in topics such as renewable energy, health and safety and environmental management. This research will support the GMAO's Reanalysis of EOS Observations for the National Climate Assessment project.
Education: PhD in Atmospheric Sciences or related field

Work will be performed in an office or computer lab environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; talk or hear. Keyboarding for large time spans each day may be a significant part of this position.
