Messer is seeking a Project Engineer Co-op to assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer in the management and administration of the project.

Responsibilities are as follows:
These responsibilities will vary from project to project but generally would include some or all of the following:
•Site and building layout
•Document control
•Quality control
•Field production analysis
•Project controls input (scheduling, cost reporting, PM solutions)
•Subcontractor and work force coordination
•Shop drawing/submittal control
•Material and equipment expediting
•Subcontractor/supplier solicitation
•Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
•Experience with using an iPad

Minimum Requirements:
•Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with a focus on construction processes/industry/delivery methods
•Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
•Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks

oPossess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
oPhysical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25lbs., seeing and reading
