Let's explore the possibilities together. The Role Lamb Weston is a $3B, global, Fortune 1000 company. We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Application Management Services team. The Build Manager will be responsible for all code and data deployments, version control management, QA. Testing and disaster recovery planning associated with Lamb Weston's application portfolio. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and details oriented with experience working in a complex software build environment. Key Accountabilities * Monitor, build, test and deploy software and data releases * Lead and mentor in the continuous improvement and documentation of all build and release processes/procedures * Develop, analyze, and maintain tools that support and automate processes for software and data releases * Design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions for iOS and Android platforms. * Develop Unit, Integration, Functional, System, Stress and Performance testing plans * Understand and provide mentorship to others on topics ranging from product components, component dependencies, product dependencies, automated tests and release processes * Document and manage the disaster recovery plan for a sub-section of critical systems associated with Lamb Weston website * Leverage iPAAS environment and tools to modernize existing interfaces and customer/supplier connectivity * Manage, monitor, and maintain CDN and associated security tools * Manage DNS records and SSL Certificates * Manage after-hours on-call process and incident management * Perform routine development maintenance on the applications * Manage the coordination and deployment of web store data * Manage QA of website features and functionality Skills & Experience * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience * 4+ years of professional experience in release / build engineering and 10+ years of overall IT experience * Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies * Extensive knowledge of Windows / Linux operating systems * Experience with both Azure and AWS cloud platform application development platforms * Extensive experience developing and maintaining Ant and other build/test scripts * Extensive experience with one or more source code repositories such as CVS, Subversion, etc. * Experience with distributed version control repositories such as Mercuiral, Git, BitKeeper, etc * Experience with one or more scripting languages - Perl, Python, PHP, Ruby, etc. * Experience with Disaster Recovery planning including offsite backups and restores * Experience working in an agile software development environment and a familiarity with SCRUM practices and Lean principles * Experience in managing and mentoring others with respect to change control, organizational development and the triaging of functional problems of ranging severity * Strong analytical skills required * Individual must be a self-starter and be able to develop testing and release plans and procedures without a lot of prior direction * Individual must be able to work well under pressure and deadlines * Strongly preferred skill set in Manufacturing or Food and Beverage Industry * Ability for 25% travel Other Lamb Weston is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected factor under federal, state or local law.
