Kleinfelder is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Northeast Utilities Team to support the effective execution of our long-term business development Plan.

This position will be based in our Client's office in Syracuse, NY. Our Client is a major supplier of electric and natural gas power throughout the Northeast. Projects will focus on Capital Electric business.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares forms, invoices, work orders, and other documents related to the contract and subcontracts.
  • Prepares financial reports and analysis. Maintenance of Risk Register, Outage planning documents/schedules, Project Documentation
  • Per Project Manager direction, pull spend reports from SAP, update forecasted cash flows, and enter those updates into the appropriate Forecast Tracking mechanism
  • Per Project Manager direction, maintain and update schedule in P6.



  • Education:

    Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration or similar field preferred. Education may be substituted for relevant experience at an equivalent or higher level.

    Experience:
  • 5 - 6 years of related experience
  • 2 - 3 years of project/contract administration experience, preferably within the engineering industry, and knowledge of applicable regulations required.
  • 1 - 2 years coordination/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel skills and usage must be Advanced to Expert level to be considered for this position.
  • Must have experience or familiarity using Microsoft Project
  • Ability to work onsite at the client site 4-5 days a week in Syracuse is required
