Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE: The Technical Product Manager will work closely with the Business Development and Engineering teams to define product release requirements and user experience, as well as meet with external customers and partners to help shape the product strategy and roadmap. They will work with marketing and communications helping to define the go-to-market strategy, product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. The Technical Product Manager will also be in charge of Product user-acceptance testing and customer deployment scheduling.


  • Bachelor's degree or requisite product management experience.
  • 5+ years experience as a Technical Product Manager, or similar role
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on experience, research, data and industry trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of user experience flows and best practices
  • Technical background, with experience in delivering software product
  • Desired knowledge in areas of DevOps, containerization, container orchestration with Kubernetes, Continuous Integration and Delivery, and Cloud Native Principles. Experience with leading Cloud Providers Services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
  • Excellent teamwork skills, specifically in a fast-paced agile development environment
  • PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS: Office environment. Domestic/international travel required for trade shows and to meet with customers or potential business prospects. Extensive computer work


  • Defines, documents, and scopes product requirements based on business, customer, or partner needs
  • Develops requirements and use cases for new product features
  • Listens to stakeholders to understand various - and sometimes competing - priorities
  • Produces wire frames and other conceptual documents to illustrate new proposed features and products
  • Owns the user experience across all products
  • Conducts and analyzes user acceptance testing
  • Stays alert to potential user issues and leads problem-solving sessions
  • Partners closely with the engineering team to help determine implementation and execution schedule, monitoring the status of development projects and launch plans
  • Tracks open issues and drives them to resolution
  • Produces specifications as needed to document the plan of record
  • Holds frequent "stand-ups" to clarify priorities and facilitate collaboration
  • Manages product readiness, ensuring that all organizations are prepared to launch products and services
  • Identifies and removes roadblocks
  • Maintains regular status reports
  • Communicates frequently and clearly with parties involved to outline next steps and due dates
  • Provides support to sales and marketing teams for presentations, product demonstrations, and other customer engagements
  • Becomes an expert on other products in the marketplace
  • Analyzes and helps determine potential partner relationships for the products
  • Other duties/responsibilities as may be assigned.
  • NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS: Interacts with all levels of internal and external contacts including vendors, distributors, suppliers, creative service organizations, etc.
