Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah (UT).Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide innovative strategic and tactical solutions
  • Consult with internal key business partners to identify feasible solutions to achieve intended results
  • Champion ideas and sell them to others
  • Provide guidance to project owner related to risk management, corrective actions, and general project management
  • Manage and lead project teams as assigned
  • Define and manage project scope, budget, risks and issues
  • Coordinate various work activities to ensure work you're doing are timely, accurate, and handed-off appropriately
  • Collect and assemble work estimates
  • Conduct process improvement analysis to include the creation of related process flow documentation
  • Ensure overall quality of work products
  • Create the overall project communications plan and meeting structure
  • Ensure project documentation is maintained, securely stored, and disseminated to appropriate team members, end users, support personnel, and Key Partners
  • Detailed project planning and control to include development and maintain detailed project
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan
  • Job Requirements


    • 7+ years' experience as a PM
    • Experience managing software development and/or implementations projects (hardware related PM experience is not applicable)
    • Large company / enterprise experience required
    • Data management / migration experience is helpful
    • Banking not required, but preferred
    • * Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
    • Minimum 8 years of experience with leading projects utilizing hybrid forms of Agile and Iterative methodologies
    • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
    • Senior experience leading projects and people in global, matrixed organizations
    • Experience leading both business processes and technology projects across multiple business functions
    • Experience with the management of application integrations projects in a mainframe and distributed application environment
    • Experience with management and mitigation of resource constraints
    • Proven track record of succeeding on high profile, high risk, high pressure, fast paced, multi*stream projects
    • Demonstrated aptitude and experience establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with business partners, business customers, executives, and IT colleagues
    • Strong presentation, oral and written, and negotiation skills required
    • Strong Microsoft Project skills
    • Ability to lead through influence and drive user adoption
    • Ability to expertly prioritize and organize work demands with little oversight
