Job Description Job Description Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment, and conducts quality assurance tests. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality methodologies and utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement.

This person will be reporting directly to the Program Quality Manager on a daily basis and will have direct contact with all Program related personnel. Each day will be a series of validation and verification activities based upon the individual Quality contract requirements and will require travel to various suppliers from time to time. This position will and can lead to additional classified programs which require Quality oversight of a different level. A vast majority of the tools that are needed to be utilized are Microsoft Office and some familiarization of the Tip QA Corrective Action tool or similar modular CA tool.Typical Education & Experience Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experienceRequired Skills and Education Bachelor's Degree + 2 years of experience or equivalent
  • Must have 2+ years of experience in the role of Quality Engineer during the development and the manufacturing phases of the project.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office and internal Quality Root Cause and Corrective Action Systems such as Tip-QA (TM).
  • Must have experience working directly with customers
