Job Description IT Project Manager

Monroe Staffing Services is an award-winning, full- service staffing and consulting firm, with locations throughout the Northeast and North Carolina. Monroe Staffing Services is currently seeking IT Project Managers for full-time and contract positions with Fortune 500 companies in the local area. Seeking local candidates with a strong portfolio of experience to bring to the table with the ability to contribute immediately in fast-paced corporate environments. We are currently interviewing and hiring for a number of positions with prestigious corporations.

IT Project Manager Job Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years of IT project management, and 3+ years of additional IT experience
  • Provide full life cycle project management & project delivery
  • Ability to work closely with senior IT and business leaders to ensure that delivery expectations are developed, managed and met
  • Proven expertise and application of project delivery responsibilities for complex projects and/or programs spanning the full life cycle from proposal development to post-implementation close-out.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing project teams by effectively leading and providing work direction for others
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct business impact and cost/benefit analysis and recommend the appropriate course of action for assigned projects
  • Proven expertise and application of various development methodologies (ie.Agile)
  • Experience in leading areas of a PMO with a strong interest and track record in influencing change in project and program management best practices
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • PMP is highly preferred.
