Compensation: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year

Our client, an industry leader, has an exciting, full-time Payroll Administrator opportunity available in the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will perform all aspects of the ADP payroll function as well as become the liaison between benefit providers and our employees. Additional functions will also be taught over time in order for the candidate to become an important contributor to the company culture. Job Requirements: - Analyze, prepare and input payroll data - Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. - Prepare and process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls. - Print paychecks and sort by department. - Solve problems concerning payroll, answer inquiries, and enforce payroll policies. -Handle payroll deductions and wage garnishment. - Assist in development of overall payroll procedures by recommending improvements or changes when deemed necessary for greater efficiency. - Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end reports such as labor percentages, terminations, gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, and other reports deemed necessary by management. - Process paycheck adjustments after reconciling discrepancy and post adjustment in payroll system - Perform various journal entries, account reconciliation, and provide General Ledger support. - Perform other duties related to administrative responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor. - Some weekend availability may be required.
