Your Role:  The Quality Control lab is a laboratory environment requiring the ability to carry out laboratory operating procedures in a safe manner, while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

 Maintain, clean, calibrate, etc. equipment, document and notify appropriate parties if calibration is required.

  • Assist in chemical disposal.
  • Perform inspection on incoming raw materials and add them to inventory.
  • Assist senior staff with advanced chemical analysis techniques.
  • Accurately record and report data.
  • Assist with production activities as required.
  • Carry out instructions from senior staff.
  • Work effectively with computer software and hardware, including analytical instrument, spreadsheet and word processing applications
  • Read, interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out work assignments communicated orally or in writing.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with relevant staff.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ensure that lab supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Prepare testing reagents (e.g. buffers, standards, etc.) as necessary.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience with Excel
  • Outstanding math skills
  • Strong Documentation
  • Who You Are:

  • Education:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Some college with coursework in physical or biological science/engineering/life science
  • Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Skills:
  • Ability to read, follow and understand operating procedures, Purchase Specifications and Drawings.
  • Capable of doing basic math and Metrology.
  • Comfortable working with computers and fluent with Excel spreadsheets.
  • Willingness to learn multiple operations and adjust quickly to new tasks.
  • Interest in working in a scientific field.
  • Reading and writing English communication skills.
  • Hearing and Vision within normal limits.
  • Laboratory setting Personal Protective Equipment required.
