Our client is a nationally recognized design, construction, and consulting firm specializing in turnkey energy solutions for high-end residential and commercial clients. We deliver engineering, contracting, operations, maintenance, and management services — all geared toward the creation of sustainable energy systems designed to ensure comfort, harmonize with their environments, and optimize cost efficiency. As part of the Energy 1 team, you will help provide comprehensive electrical engineering services geared to cover all facets of the construction process, beginning with design initiation, through the commissioning of systems.
Specifically, you will:
Perform engineering/design and drafting (Revit or AutoCAD) of electrical and mechanical systems,
Perform mechanical system design analysis including, but not limited to, energy consumption and modeling, comparative system life-cycle cost modeling, and energy code compliance verification.
Produce complete, code compliant project contract documents including drawings and specifications to be used for permitting, bidding, and construction.
Work closely with owners, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
3-5 years’ professional experience in electrical engineering. Project management experience preferred.
PE license preferred.
Proficient with AutoCAD or Revit.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking to time-sensitive situations.
