System One is looking for a Senior Scheduler with DOE and P6 experience.
The Senior Schedulers shall provide assistance to NWP in the development and maintenance of integrated, resource loaded schedules utilizing fundamental critical path method techniques within an earned value management system. The Subcontractor shall provide a senior level project scheduler with the experience necessary to provide direct assistance to NWP to develop and maintain project schedules for GPP and Operations Projects.
The Senior Schedulers shall perform the following: a) Maintain a standardized scheduling process b) Analyze schedule data for baseline change control, variance analysis, horizontal and vertical coordination, and integration of schedule logic. c) Lead/Direct Plan of the Day/Week and monthly Meetings d) Support the timely submittal of all required progress and status reports. e) Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced project controls staff, and support to senior management and external customers.
a) Understanding knowledge of planning and control principles and techniques and prescribed system criteria. b) Minimum of 8 years of experience in the development and maintenance of integrated resource loaded schedules wherein the skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and accountabilities have been adequately demonstrated c) Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience utilizing Primavera with extensive experience utilizing Primavera P6 in a DOE operational/project environment d) Experience using Earned Value Management systems within the DOE complex in accordance with DOE Order 413.3B, Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets and EIA-748, Earned Value Management Systems e) Experience in the development and maintenance of integrated resource loaded schedules for capital asset and general plant projects f) Experience leading/directing Plan of the Day/Week/Month meetings g) Provide written and oral information to others in work group and assigned work units in other departments. Make formal presentations to small groups in own and other departments. h) Effectively coach and mentor NWP and subcontractor personnel on EVMS principles, including report layouts, calendars for routine deliverables, and procedures or desk top guides on scheduling processes Preferred Requirements:
a) Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and COBRA software b) Previous WIPP experience
