The Registered Nurse assists in the medical care and treatment of students
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDresses woundsAdministers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patient?s chartAssembles and uses various medical equipmentSterilizes equipment and suppliesResponsible for insuring high sanitary conditionsAssists in physicals of all new traineesOrders all drugs and medical supplies as requiredMaintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnelTakes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates
Minimum: State Registered Nurse?s License and one year?s experience as a practicing Registered Nurse
Preferred: Two or more years experience
Knowledge Required: Knowledge of nursing practices/procedures. Ability to relate effectively to student population. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to carry out instructions with minimal supervision.

7:30am-4:00pm, on call every third weekend
