Our purpose and vision is to create more MOMENTS OF JOY by building the BEST SNACKING COMPANY IN THE WORLD.

With more than nearly 100,000 employees around the world, we need to make our size work for us. Your human resources skills can help make that happen. You’ll partner with business units to create growth opportunities for our talent, building the right enterprise capabilities and, ultimately, a culture that enables us to be competitive … and also fun.

At Mondelez International, we know that we need every colleague prepared to approach any business challenge / opportunity with the right mind-set, comfort and confidence. This is how we realize our strategic objectives and how we grow our business. But it isn’t always easy to ensure that our colleagues are fit for change. And some changes are more difficult to cope with than others. It is for this reason that we leverage a group of highly skilled practitioners to prepare, equip and lead our colleagues through any change that our organization may deem necessary to deliver our business agenda.

Because change is such a constant in our organization, it is critical that we position a resource to own the change agenda at a strategic level within each region. This ownership and oversight is essential so that we not only have a coordinated approach to managing all of the changes taking place within the region (global changes impacting people in the region, regional-led initiatives, and functionally-led initiatives), but also so that we ensure a seamless and integrated experience for our colleagues who are working through the changes.

Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Design, own and execute the highly complex strategic change strategy for the region (in line with the standard MDLZ Change Framework) with input from the Region PMO Lead, the Region HR VP, the Region T&OE Lead, and the Change Management COE Lead.
  • Manage the overall strategic direction of the change agenda in the region across all functions.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive change plan that accounts for all changes impacting people / processes within the region (with key activities and timing). Ensure that the right coordination between initiatives, communications, etc exists so that the impacts are strategically managed and the overall programs are comprehensively coordinated.
  • Partner closely with the Region T&OE Lead, Region HR VP, Region PMO and Change Management Deployment Lead to assess change management needs / requirements for all regional initiatives, including those submitted to the EPMO priority portfolio. Ensure the right resources are aligned against the priority initiatives in line with the Region program agenda and Change COE strategy.
  • Provide change management leadership and expertise to any resources who are leading change for a priority initiative within the region. Provide coaching, guidance, feedback and support, as needed.
  • Create a change management community of practice within the region so that those who are leading change know where to go for help / guidance, as needed.
  • Coach and guide senior regional business leaders on how to stand in front of and actively manage any change initiative that they are leading in the region. Ensure that all senior leaders are equipped with the know-how, capability, and expertise to appropriately manage change.
  • Create and cultivate a regional network of change champions across the region / area / countries to translate global initiatives into what it means for the each impacted group
  • Partner closely with all region AR owners of priority initiatives to ensure that a robust process is established to build change management resourcing into the AR process.
  • Partner with regional/local CGA to design and manage communication approach and strategy for key messages across the region.
  • Create strategies and deployment plans (including design and lead training sessions and ways of working workshops) to implement successful behavior change activities. Ensure that there is comprehensive connectivity across initiatives within the region.
  • Build strong and trustable relationship with key stakeholders to guarantee successful implementations and making timely adjustments on change resources and/or change plans.
  • Measure and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of the change and transformation strategies through qualitative and quantitative measures, ensuring shared accountability and corrective actions in place.
  • Develop, deploy and maintain Region change capability plans and pro-actively partner with the Change CoE to “grow our people” through targeted skill / capability building activities in place for priority stakeholders within the region.
  • Partner with stakeholders and influence program leads to ensure projects benefit realization and sustainability for all priority initiatives in the region.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Change Management COE Leadership Team; attend meetings, lead initiatives on behalf of the larger change community that are outside of the region scope
  • Influence and constructively challenge business and project leaders to guarantee we have broader region interest in mind with respect to our colleagues and Mondelēz (MDLZ) values.
