Summary Description

This position has full P&L responsibility and provides overall planning, direction and control to assigned lines of business to achieve operating and financial goals. 


  • Establish action plans, critical indicators, timetables, and performance measures to guarantee high quality services and timely deliverables to all customers.  Ensure that contractual service standards and customer expectations are satisfied.  Continually evaluate priorities to determine if they are consistent with customer(s) objectives.
  • Develop regional long-term and short-term operating and financial goals including budgets and forecasts to ensure effective operations and optimum profitability.
  • Work with management team to develop and enhance the operational structure including skill set requirements, gap analysis and training plans. Formulate business processes and relationships that move away from traditional methodologies and set a new standard for collaboration on quality, service integration and cost management.
  • Implement contracting strategies and programs that reduce cost as well as maximize revenue streams.  Provide advice and assistance to leaders in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of modifications to existing operations, systems, and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer rapport and mutually beneficial business relationships with customers. Develop and implement programs to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Select and retain staff compatible with KEPRO’s mission, vision and values and ensure staff is aligned with the organization’s culture/goals/objectives.
  • Drive and support a “one-company” orientation collaborating with partners across the entire organization; e.g., operations, human resources, IT, business development, data warehouse, contract compliance, etc. Perform cross-regional activities that enhance operating efficiencies. 
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) in the development of products and services responsive to current and future needs. Support and participate in strategic planning and execution to enhance growth, profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company’s operations. Collaborate with leadership in the development of new and enhanced products and services. Represent the organization at internal, local, state, and national meetings.

  • Bachelor’s degree in clinical, allied health, business or related field.  Master’s degree in public health, public administration, hospital administration, nursing or business administration preferred.
  • Skills, Knowledge Abilities

  • Ability to work within KEPRO’s decision-making and organizational structure.
  • Skill in examining and re-examining operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of U.S. healthcare industry; preferably with experience in both public and private sector. 
  • Expertise in employee development and performance management skills.
  • Ability to analyze resources and environment appropriate to the scope of responsibility and design a course of action consistent with KEPRO’s mission and strategic plan.
  • Demonstrated achievement in P&L management, operational process engineering, remote operations management and new business development support.
  • Ability to successfully manage change and growth.
  • Knowledge of business development, strategic planning, tactical implementation and creation of business partnerships.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing differing customer needs.
  • Ability to participate as a team member fostering collaborative decision-making among leadership, committees, teams or work groups of diverse composition.
  • Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience managing major complex project(s) supporting programs similar to that of EAOS.
  • Significant experience managing contract operations including contract administration functions.
  • Public and private sector healthcare experience and/or has been involved in providing services to government or commercial programs.
  • Ten years of progressive operational leadership of a public and/or private sector healthcare entity with at least five years in a position of direct operational authority for an entire operation.
