Job Description Overview

Our Business Development Coordinator assists the Business Development Vice President and CCS proposal management team with all necessary marketing and sales support.



  • Prefer bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience:

  • Highly skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CCSMGR, and Concur.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to aggressively multi-task and have outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in event coordination.
  • Licenses/Certifications:

  • Notary Public.

  • Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for all Conference activity organization and coordination including maintaining an up-to-date annual conference/event calendar, registrations, special event planning, sponsorship submittals and renewals, expenditure documentation, expo logistics, shipping of displays and supplies, etc.
    2. Provide administrative assistance support to Business Development and Client Retention teams to include travel scheduling for conferences, occasional field staff expenditure submittals, and other general clerical duties as requested.
    3. Assist in the production and shipment of proposals, ad development for sponsorships/conferences, preparation of marketing materials and specialty advertising products for conferences, etc. 
    4. Order and maintain department’s office and shipping supplies.
    5. Specifically assist the Sr. Business Development Coordinator with various duties as assigned and back-up in Sr. Business Development Coordinator’s absence.
    6. Provide support for business development efforts and work closely with multiple members of the CCS management team and their administrative staffs.
    7. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
    8. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
    9. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
    10. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
    11. Perform other duties as assigned.
